Case Study

Every August, RAF Syerston hosts the week-long National Air and Space Camp, delivering specialist training in aviation, cyber, engineering, and space for Royal Air Force Air Cadets and adult volunteers.

A central highlight of the week is Industry Day, which connects cadets with leading organisations, aerospace professionals, and supporters across the sector. We were proud to have our flight simulator kit on site supporting the event, giving cadets hands-on, immersive flight experience as part of their training.

The event also featured the launch of the Inspire Stage, connecting young people with industry leaders to hear career advice and technical insights. We are thrilled our simulator technology could play a part in supporting the next generation of aerospace talent at Syerston.

Even with challenging, gusty weather on the airfield, this year’s Industry Day at the National Air and Space Camp proved to be an outstanding success for both the cadets and visiting organisations.

Interactive technology played a central role in driving engagement at the National Air and Space Camp this year. RedboxXR supported the event by loaning a prototype flight simulator system for the day. Set up inside the charity’s showcase gazebo, the simulator quickly became one of the standout attractions on the ground.
